Next Step: Contract

Since we’re planning our wedding from Texas to Chicago, we have a few people doing some scouting for us. Isaiah’s fabulous sister lives downtown and she is doing some looking in for us. We’ve been deciding between Opera and Carnivale for the ceremony/reception venue. We were under the impression that Opera was basically a less-expensive version of Carnivale, but just as cool.
When his sister went to scout it out for us, she said Opera was gross, run-down and in a rough part of town. I guess it makes sense now that the coordinator had no idea how to talk to people, was rude and didn’t seem to know anything about the venue.
So all that’s left before we sign off on Carnivale are the negotiations and the contract! Yay for decisions.

How fun to have “scouts”. You are lucky to have people you trust…I think I would be a little to, ahem, controling :)). Glad a big decision is almost out of the way…wow…that must feel so good!!!!
