Mixtape Masters: Rainy Day Post-Modern Rock

November 12, 2010

Today’s Mixtape Masters is all about post-modern rock love.

Some of our favorite instrumental and experimental vocal bands together in perfect freaking unison. We’ve been doing a lot of freelance writing and design and my final layout for the magazine was due yesterday, so I speak from experience when I say there’s no better type of music to fuel your productivity and keep you mellow at the same time.

Hope you enjoy the listen.

For more Mixtape Master madness, peep the playlists on these blogs:

Hi-Fi Weddings, One Cat Per Person, Tylre, My SF Budget WeddingFashion Under 100, Dead Flowers, Jo Rooting, Craft My Life, Another Damn Life, Casa de Kaloi, Bunnies’n Beagles, Something Different, Savoir Weddings, Existing Between Reality and Dreams and Fancy Notion.

Be a Mixtape Master. Email Angie or Ashley to get on the list.

bah! share it! haha. thanks so much! it may or may not be a little peekage for how we’re designing the new site. 🙂

Seriously with the graphic. How come you get to be so awesome?

I was on a post mod kick this week so when Lizzie asked what we should theme the mixtape we looked at each other and agreed. Also we’re mad happy you dig the graphic, not to brag but for some odd reason it took us no time at all to put together.

Yeah, I’m with everyone else: kick-ass graphic. You’re inspiring me. I want to start doing graphics with mine when I’m able to.

Also, this is perfect music to get me in a zone.

Always happy for new music-John doesn’t like “living composers” or contemporary music at all, and he was actually enjoying this mix!

Noticed we also had a theme with all of our songs:

Glittering Blackness –> Follow the Map –> We’re No Here –> Sleepwalkers –> The Wrong Way

Talk about a journey that was meant to be together.

Dearest sweet lizzie, music is also one of my inspiration! I often create with music playing at the background and it’s sooo true that they fuel our productivity. 🙂 Have a lovely merry happy weekend and love to you!
