Second Place Thumb Wrestler

August 12, 2010
by

This is my face.  Both when I saw that I had over 1,000 entries in my Google Reader…it won’t tell me the actual number, just 1,000+…and when I discovered that Isaiah had been letting my short, baby thumbs win in thumb wars for as long as I’ve known him…and I am actually not a talented thumb wrestler.

I just got back from two trips that totaled one month of being away, and I am spending a lot of today catching up on you and your blogs…CONGRATS to those of you who got married while I was away!

I don’t even know where to begin recapping the trip for you, so I will start with the very last day, the drive home from Branson, Missouri, with my mom and Isaiah.  She asked us how the wedding plans were going and we talked about that for about an hour.   Got us kicked in gear that we actually need to start planning this thing and getting a few details (venue) down in stone.

I am still cooling off from the trip and getting used to being back home!

I will recap the trip in the least overwhelming way I can think of as soon as possible! Just glad to be back and enjoying some peace and quiet for a few days before the roller coaster starts up again.

Isaiah and I are both on the hunt for jobs and looking forward to having some time together in the meantime, however hard it is to enjoy it while we are all panicky!

Just a quick update, we’ll be back to normal here really quickly, just a “hey” and a “I really missed you all!” from me in the meantime.

Aww, we missed you too, sweetcheeks. By the way, you look SUPER ADORABLE PRETTY in that photo. Me thinks you must be aware. Love it to pieces.
However one question, did the Devil rise in front of you, or are you near the red light district? You are AWASH in red, alarmingly so. (Even though I think it makes the shot even more awesome.)

I see Lisa was here…. looks like all three of us are playing catch up!

And baby thumbs are awesome. Mine are baby sized compared to Josh’s, but he NEVER lets me win. Besides I think I only two times out of all the times we’ve played.

Next time, give him the hook. He’ll never expect it.
