What to Wear: Engagement Shoot
We are having our engagement shoot done by this fantastic student photographer from my school in about 2-3 weeks. She has awesome rates and is really talented…So, that’s checked off the list. But now, what-ever-will-I-wear.
I found a few dresses I really like for the engagement shoot, and since we are going to have our sa-the-da’s (rock-it Angie) made out of these photos, I feel they’re going to be around for a long time.
Here are the options:
From Mod Cloth:
(You should note I’m tempted to get this dress because of the name)
From Anthropologie:
I’m partial to Undercurrent from Anthropologie, but obviously Mod Cloth is way less expensive. I also love dresses, so it will be worn again. So, whadya think? I like all the different styles, but mainly I like the dresses all of the other women everywhere find for their sa-the-da’s…where are those dresses?
My vote is for Hinterland…how gorgeous and unique is that?! I also love Temporary Secretary. Which one on your list do you think you’d wear again? (be honest!)
@Jill. Thanks! I think Oh Yeah!, Hinterland, Augusta and Undercurrents have the most likelihood of me wearing them again. ALTHOUGH. I am graduating next semester and interning now through the fall…and I’ve been dying for a great professional dress….(All Hinterland, Undercurrents, Only Have Eyes & Temp Secretary fit the mold of the unfortunately incredibly high-fashion world of PR)
I’m so driven by comfortable-ness when choosing clothing…which is why I’m leaning toward Oh Yeah! Augusta, and Undercurrents most…but I don’t know…I am sure whichever I choose, the other will have been “a much better choice” haha.
Thanks again, you are awesome.
I’m totally for the Oh Yeah! Or the Augusta cuz it looks so frickin comfortable! But the Oh Yeah has some cute spunk to it. But agree with Jill – get the one you would wear the most often.
Good luck!
For style and comfort, I’d go for the Undercurrent. The colors are gorgeous and it looks so airy and flowy.
@Chrissy I agree…I’m totally leaning more toward the Undercurrent…it’s the most expensive out of all of them though!
@Jen The Augusta and Oh Yeah are sooooo affordable. The others would be breakin the bank a little bit and that’s not exactly what I should be doing…the only reason I’m thinking about it is because I need professional clothes for work that don’t make me feel 50 years old anyways.
