3D Save the Dates

May 9, 2010

Isaiah and I are nerds for some 3D.  We geeked out at Avatar and Isaiah wants a 3D TV one day. I saw these awesome save-the-dates on Etsy, and we both freaked out just a little bit. “We should do 3D invites!!”

We’re not decided yet, but here’s our inspiration, because as Elizabeth the stripper says, “Secrets, Secrets are no fun…Secrets, Secrets hurt someone.”

And even if we’re not 100% on how to make 3D on our own, we found these secret-reveal decoder save-the dates that we love almost just as much.

    Love them both! I saw the decoder ones too a while back and told Josh we had to try them… but we’re too lazy. If you do them, please post pics!

    Definitely will. We’re not sure which ones suit us the best…so once we pick, there will photos galore of the process!

    oh, bomb! those are awesome and I’m just a tad bit jealous! I’m loving the secret reveal STDs – now how can I incorporate those into my wedding??? Maybe thats how we’ll do our wedding programs so that when I look out, everyone will have silly glasses on! That’ll totally get rid of my nerves! lol

    I love the idea of these 3D designs! They don’t look anything like those secret image where you have to cross your eyes to see the final picture either, which I have not once been able to do successfully.

    (hi! Thank you stopping by my blog with a comment!)

    @Jen – ACTUALLY, that sounds like a fantastic idea. How much would you like to see grandma and grandpas out there with red-decoder glasses on…it would, at the very least, provide the photographer with some SERIOUS inspiration.

    @D&Grey – Thanks!

    @KWu – Me neither…can’t do em for the life of me. Have you seen the Seinfeld episode where Mr. Pitt can’t find the secret image in the 3D painting and misses the meeting? It’s fantastic, if not. And definitely, I’ll look forward to checking it out more in the future.
