Save the Dates and Invitation Posters

April 21, 2010

I freaked out a little bit when I saw these save-the-date posters with matching mailing labels, invitations and even adorable tickets to match.

As I’m sure I’ve mentioned too many times, Isaiah is a very talented graphic designer and former lead singer in a rock band. He loved the idea of using his graphic design talents to be involved in the wedding planning as well as feeling like a major rock-star with concert-esque poster invites.

These delicious invites are from Marit Hanson.

Matching “tickets” to the wedding.

I love this save-the-date/invitation idea and it’s definitely going on the list.

    1.) Your hair is cute.
    2.) Your blog is cute.
3.) Those Save the Dates are pretty awesome!
4.) I started making a list about a year ago as to why Josh and I should move to Texas. (Number one was the basement in the Alamo.) 🙂

We thought about doing concert-style posters as invites and mailing them in tubes… but that would have cost us a pretty penny and I can’t go another week eating hot dogs and frozen corn. Looking forward to seeing how the $10,000 wedding in Illinois goes!
