Prairie Productions

The newest on our favorite list of venues is Prairie Productions in the West Loop, Chicago.  Again, it’s a little pricey. It would be about $3,000 just to rent the place for a Friday night.

For that, you get:

• Tables
• Chairs
• Linens

No food, no flatware, dishes…No set up or takedown. Oh, boy. If we splurge here, we won’t have too much more for photography, food, attire, and that may mean limiting our guest list.

I wish you didn’t have to tell them you were planning a wedding.  Especially just for rental of a place, with no service or food, what do they care if it’s a birthday or a wedding?
